The Barjašić family farm was established in 2005 in Policnik, a small village near the ancient town of Zadar on the Dalmatian coast. We are guided by the idea of personal modesty, but at the same time strive for quality. In our quest for quality, the sunny Mediterranean climate is greatly helping us. Our organic EVOO is produced from the autochthonous Dalmatian olive cultivar Oblica (Orkula), which, paired with the perfect climate, assures a premium quality.
Orkula is a high-quality organic extra virgin olive oil crafted from handpicked olives and pressed immediately to ensure the freshest and most delicious oil overflowing with Dalmatian aromas arrives at your home. It shows harmonious balance between spiciness and bitterness with complex aroma which are dominated by almond and green grass.
